MiniMap Privacy Policy

MiniMap (“we”) is a driving HUD that shows your position, nearby community reports (police, cameras, hazards), and optional turn-by-turn guidance, including on CarPlay.
What we collect
- Location. Used to place you on the map, fetch nearby reports, provide navigation, and keep CarPlay guidance alive when the phone is locked. You can deny or later revoke location access in iOS Settings.
- Account. Sign in with Apple creates an account. You can also explore without an account (anonymous session) so reporting still works.
- Reports you submit. If you tap to report police, cameras, or hazards, we store the type and location of that report.
- Device diagnostics. Standard crash and operational logs needed to run the service.
What we do not sell
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your location for advertising.
Sharing
Map tiles and directions are provided by Mapbox. Authentication and report storage use Supabase. These processors receive only what is needed to provide those services.
Retention
Community reports expire. Account data is kept while your account exists. You can request deletion by emailing the address below.
Your choices
- Use the app without creating a named account.
- Turn off location access in iOS Settings (the map will not work without it).
- Email us to access or delete your account data.
Children
MiniMap is not directed at children under 13.
